Tranquillity Island is 380 hectares (about 939 acres) of tropical island on Moso, in Havannah Harbour off the northwest coast of Efate.

The land runs between two very different coastlines. On one side is the calm, sheltered water of Havannah Harbour. On the other is the open Pacific Ocean, with rugged headlands and surf. In between you’ll find white sand beaches, quiet coves, clear blue water and thick tropical bush.

This was once home to the well-known Tranquillity Island Resort. It had a dive operation and ran marine conservation work, so tourism has a real history here.
